CNS 2025 General information
Dear Members of the Czech Neuroscience Society,
As in every odd-numbered year, 2025 marks the occasion of our biennial Society conference. However, this year's meeting will bring several notable changes. After long-standing discussions about relocating the event, the Society Board has decided to move the conference from Prague to Pilsen. The Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen recently inaugurated a brand-new campus, and my colleagues and I are honored to host you there. The campus provides ample space for lectures, poster sessions, and additional facilities, allowing us to accommodate a significantly larger number of participants.
Another important topic in recent program committee discussions has been how to encourage greater participation from clinical neuroscientists, thereby enriching both the program's scope and its overall impact. To address this, we have structured this year's conference as a joint meeting between the Czech Neuroscience Society and the Czech Society for Clinical Neurophysiology. We believe this collaboration will be both productive and stimulating.
The conference will retain its traditional two-day format, taking place on September 15–16, 2025. A further enhancement this year is the introduction of specialized workshops aimed at strengthening methodological expertise. Our partner society will organize a clinical workshop focused on neuroimaging and data processing, while our Society will host a satelite workshop on in vivo single-cell electrophysiology on September 17. As these sessions cater to a more specialized audience, they will take place outside the main program.
I warmly invite you to join us and encourage you to mark September 15–16 on your calendar. Further details and registration information will be available soon on our website.
We look forward to welcoming you to Pilsen!
Best regards,
Karel Jezek, president of the Conference
